About The Hackathon

At I_Hack 2019, we bring together India’s best coders, developers, designers, innovators, creators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. I_Hack is geared up for those who are passionate about building, designing and innovating. It is a 30 Hr event where the enthusiasts meet, develop and compete in the product prototyping competition. I_Hack comprises of 3 parallel tracks :

Blockchain Track

Ever felt awestruck by the immense possibilities blockchain might bring in the future? Ever wanted to dive into this complicated but beautiful technology? We have got you covered. With the increasing interest and applications of Web 3.0, get an opportunity to build Decentralized Applications over Ethereum and EOS among the best Dapp developers and crytographers. This track will be an open track with no pre-defined problem statement

No Specific Problem Statement

Software track

Can't control the geeky entrepreneurial side of yours? always wanted to build great tech and and optimize things, but always were a little confused where to start with? We have something for you as well. The Software Track will have a pre-defined problem statement for which hackers will have to come up with their best solution in 30 hours and the most efficient and practical solution will be the winner. The problem statement will be released prior to the hackathon.

Want to be the next Rancho? In too deep a relationship with the electronic world? Always more excited about MIPS than Movies? If you are in love with the microprocessors, chips, controllers and ICs, and feel left out at most hackathons because you don't like to code, then this track is for you. You will be provided hardware components to build upon and will have to come up with an awesome product of your own.

Have Questions?

Who can attend?
Current students of any college of India as well as working professionals.
A team should contain 3-4 members. Individuals can also register in the hackathon but however they won’t be allowed to participate individually. Selected individuals would be invited to the finals at IIT Bombay and they would be clubbed in teams.
This event is completely free! We’ll provide you with a plethora of resources and tools to hack with.
What should I bring to the venue?
You need to carry your College/Company ID Card, laptop, phone, chargers, any sleeping equipment you might want and a geeky t-shirt!
When will the applications close?
The applications will close on 11:59 pm on 15th January 2019. We will select the applications on the go and acceptance will be sent periodically. Once accepted, you will have to confirm your presence in 2 days.
Will snacks/food be provided at the Hackathon?
Although we won't provide food at the Hackathon, but there will be stalls around the venue where you could have a sumptuous meal!
